One of my first friends on Steemit, @ameliabartlett, tagged me in this fabulous introduce-yourself-style challenge that her beau @hobotang created. So much fun!
Here's a throwback pic. I did this for my original introduce myself post. See that linked chain around the word "community?" Yeah, that. Sure found that here. Big love to my Steemit family! š
1. What 3 meals would you have before heading to the International Space Station?
- Blueberry-banana greens smoothie
- Eggs and pancakes with elk sausage
- Sushi. Iād let @jonny-clearwater order, ācause heās got excellent taste in sushiā¦ as long as the hot sauce is on the side. ;)
2. What section of the newspaper/library would you be?
I donāt use the newspaper for anything but starting fires (I'll read the comics before I crumple them up and toss them in), so I added the library bit to this question. Youād find me in the sci-fi/fantasy section, looking for books with a decent dose of romance.
3. If you were immortal, what age would you choose to stop aging at and why?
35 was good. I was in the best shape of my life, before my body went through all the changes of childbirth.
4. What sport would you compete in, if you were in the Olympics?
I dislike competition, and I think the Olympics are a corrupt organization that wastes incredible resources without rewarding the athletes that should be benfiting from all the hard work theyāve done to get to that level of skill. However, if there were a professional swinging-while-singing event, Iād enter that. Yes, Iām talking on a swing set. A big one!
5. If you had to go back in time to live the rest of your life where/when would you go?
Iād go back to Lemuria. Especially if they had friendly dragons.
6. If time and money were no barrier what would you create?
Sustainable communities for everyone in the world.
7. Have you ever completed anything on your bucket list?
Many things, yes. Moved to a different country, snowboarded epic mountains, met some incredible Steemians last weekendā¦
8. What would be the most surprising scientific discovery imaginable?
Surprising? Not sure. I guess it would be cool to discover benevolent extraterrestrials and actually have it disclosed, rather than this āweāre the only intelligent life in the universeā concept, which is arrogant, narrow-minded bullshit.
9. Are you a good witch or bad witch?
A good witch with a wild side, who likes to think she's a bad girl every so often. ;)
10. If you had to teach a class on one thing, what would you teach?
Yoga with Tantric philosophy, dragon rider style. I already published the manual.
11. Which band / artist ā dead or alive would play at your funeral?
Janis Joplin with Michael Franti and Spearhead.
12. What book or movie have you read/seen recently you would recommend and why?
I havenāt read it recently, but Iām gonna do a shout out for The Fionavar Tapestry by Guy Gavriel Kay. Itās an epic fantasy that Iāve read many times. I always find my heart enmeshed in the story and characters, tears running down my face, imagination soaring as I live an adventure written as skillfully as The Lord of the Rings.
Your turn!
