Even as @jayna was lost in the back alleys of steemit's account recovery process, her evil twin @jaynas-minime carried on the torch of the 50 Word Story Challenge.
This time around we have the prompt of: fence.
(I've always been afraid of heights and have never been to The Grand Canyon, but I have a feeling I'd be nervous about getting near the edge.)
The Grand Canyon. It was bigger than Mara imagined.
“Stop the car, dad!”
“Ok, hold on!” He laughed, parked, and she jumped out.
Mara ran to the fence to take a photo, leaning out. Too far. The fence broke. She was falling, but her dad grabbed her from behind.
“Careful!”
