Hello, all of you, good hearted steemians! I am here again, with a post for my favorite charity that gives a chance for a brighter future to kids in Bangladesh. All proceeds from this post will go to @SchoolForSDG4, created by @azizbd, to help host a weekly fruit program and/or provide educational materials for the kids. It has been a busy week for me, I have added extra responsibilities to my daily routine and am trying to work on more things to make them happen, but I am not leaving my Charity Friday behind!
This week for the Fruit program the kids had pomegranate, one of my favorite, yet tedious fruit! I love the taste of the fruit, but the seeds are way too annoying. The journey to get to them is well worth it, though, because the taste trumps it all. Just look at the happy face in the picture, you will suddenly crave a pomegranate as well! :D
The kids are staying healthy and going to school so their education is moving forward. The exam time is coming, but thankfully they do not look as stressed as I did before those. To be fair, I have always been a perfectionist and a control freak, so I am sure, that is where my stress levels generated from as the world is not perfect in anybodies eyes and control is something we can't completely achieve either. I know, I dig my own holes to get buried in! :D
But this is about kids, not me. I need to control my floppy mouth(rambling) and tell you about the kids! The kids are going to get new toothbrushes and toothpastes allocated to them next week as a lot of people in Bangladesh use coal to clean their teeth and that is not the healthiest option. So the kids are going to get protected against all of those bad things that our dentist scared us with when we were little. Another amazing new thing that is going to improve lives!
And here you can see the future creators that are building and not destroying in the usual Jenga style. Or maybe the kids are just perfectly trained Jenga players and they can pull out a piece without moving the rest?! Are they the Jenga champions? I need answers and I need them now. :D
As you are guessing by now I am in a great mood and that is because I have seen so much improvement, in the lives of those children, since I first heard about the charity. One day I will visit for sure and maybe by then they will already be on their way to achieve great things. I hope they will be as giving and helping as @Azizbd is, as he is a person to look up to!
Lets fight for a better future, lets build, create and make it happen. Humanity has a long way to go, but we can make it, especially if we give a better future to todays children, because they are going to be tomorrows builders and creators, tomorrows innovators.
