This week a huge thing happened to the charity that made both @azizbd and me very happy and thankful. But first: all proceeds from this post will go to @SchoolForSDG4, created by @azizbd, to help host a weekly fruit program and help with educational materials for the kids. As I said, this week after the holidays for the kids has brought great news for the charity.

The school has been using a laptop purchased in 2008 and it is becoming a little tricky as it is not doing as well as it used to, so @azizbd was so very happy when the project received a check of 10000BDT (Approx. 128USD) from a kind soul this week. The money was donated for the purpose of purchasing a new school laptop. I am making this weeks post with a thought that income from it will go towards that new laptop as a bigger budget means that the laptop purchased will be of better quality.
As we talked about the donation, @azibd mentioned that the water filter should be changed soon as well. The kids have been asking for that. This is not a huge expense compared to a laptop, I was informed that there are water filters for as cheap as 15$ out there, which really surprised me. This is a task for the future, though, as the new laptop is the first item on the to-do list.
Another great thing: ice cream!I loved it when I was little, in fact I still do. And the kids in my favorite school got to enjoy some this week. It was a special treat week, instead of the weekly fruit program, this week was an ice-cream program! My favorite flavors are all the fruity ones or just the plain old vanilla, I enjoy it quite a lot. But to be honest, any ice-cream will do it for me.
All and all it has been a good weak and once again it is you all that made it happen, people that care and people that are willing to help out. Because of your help those kids, out there in the world, can have a weekly snack. Because of you they have extra joy in their lives and an education, a chance for a different, better future.
