Here @mother2chicks we are strong proponents of donating to some really great charities operated by fellow steemians.
Occasionally we like to resteem posts from worthy charities or to the people that are involved with them. Giving to a cause can be risky, you’re never really sure how much of your donations actually reach the people that need it the most.
There is not alot of money in my wallet nor do I make a bundle on most of my posts. Giving just feels right to me. It’s been about 9 months since this blog was founded. In that time much more has been revealed to me than I ever thought possible.
We were so lucky to be here in the beginning of this new evolution of blockchain technology. Just look at how many people we can talk to in a single day. It is incredible that we can funnel our energies into helping each other every single day right from our computers or smart phones. Someone you don’t know on the other side of the planet may get to eat a meal today because of your generosity.
Someone once told me that by giving we are rewarded many times over. For me that has been so very true. Steemit has taught me that to give is to Love.
Maybe you’re like me, and you don’t want to get all up in the politics of steemit. Not crazy about Discord, gaming , music or meet ups because frankly it just isn’t me. I get enough chit chat on the streets every day. The people that enjoy other venues on steemit are really good at keeping the rest of us informed.
What I can do is keep my eyes open to new minnows and give to those who need it the most.
This is not a rant. No one can tell you how to spend your hard earned crypto currency. I personally have a weakness for children, both the underprivileged and those abused by the system. Both groups are represented here on steemit.
I also love animals (dogs,cats,horses,birds,exotic) especially chickens (I had to say that cause they are watching) so we give to the animals too.
What is true is we are rich in spirit and our hearts are full having known so many wonderful people here on steemit.
Give when you can, someday we may be the people in need.
