My goal is to raise funds to help kids in São Tomé, a country governed by poverty. If you want to know more about my project, please read

News!

1. A contest to solve two problems!

This week's contest winners were @helgapn and @wiseagent (I'll post screenshots on the comments section). Thanks to everybody that resteemed the post and got a chance to win!

Unfortunately the market isn't really looking great and STEEM fell A LOT. The payout was very low :( I'm just out of ideas on what to do in order to draw whale's attention to this contest.

We keep on going with the contest. As you can see below, our SP payout was enough to sponsor another SBI share!

How do you win? Just resteem this post. No other rules. Just resteem.

2. Last week's payout

So, things weren't great with the last post's payout. The rewards were 0.743 SBD, 0.192 STEEM and 0.599 STEEM POWER.

SP balance
We had a total of 2.803 SP.
This week's payout made the total of 3.402SP.
Each SBI share costs 1 STEEM.
This means our SP balance is now 1.402SP. Enough for another SBI share!

Donations
@simplymike donated some very very useful 3 SBD!
@tmarisco also donated 1 SBD last week :)

STEEM and SBD balance
This means our balance is now:
@sisou account - 6.325 SBD; 0.233 STEEM and 0.712 SP
@zpedro account - 0.690 SP

You'll say this is now much. And that's true, it's not much. But I really hope this new contest thing will help.

3. Luggage problems

We're also facing a problem regarding the extra luggage. It costs about 40 SBD (60€) just to carry another bag with us. It seems like a waste of SBD, and as you see we don't have a lot of SBD. So we will abandon the idea of buying stuff here and focus on buying local and giving those things to the kids. That way our SBD stays in the country thus helping the economy as well.

São Tomé e Príncipe

I don't have much time to write about São Tomé e Príncipe now, so I'll just leave a picture of the bridge that leads to the "Bom Bom" islet. No one lives there, but it's a place full of tourism resorts, nice beaches and nature.

I personally don't have anything against tourist resorts, and I'll be staying some nights on those. Tourism helps keeping the economy moving and working and contributes a lot for the economical health. But they don't really produce stuff, and the country still imports a lot of it's food and other resources.

That's it for today! Please if you have any questions regarding this project, read this post
