I asked the people at discord why there was not an addiction and recovery chat room, and I was told there wasn't one as of now. I would like to see one created for people to seek guidance and support for themselves and loved ones that are going through addiction, no matter what form it takes. In the United States there is a Heron epidemic that is claiming many lives and alcohol runs rampant and is accepted. Our young people become bulimic and anorexic, cut themselves or become addicted to food or sex. Gambling, work, money, anything can become a problem to someone when they put to much emphasis on it. I would like to see a room where people can come and discuss issues such as these.
