Memories from abroad - Singapore -

Tonight I decided to go through all my photos from a trip I took in 2010. It was a doozy of a trip too. I had been living in Japan for about 6 years at that point and had decided to return to the U.S. I didn't want to go back right away. I was still young. Had money in my bank account. And most important, an unending thirst to experience something new.

That passion to explore set me off on an almost a 5 month trip across Asia. From hitchhiking in Japan, to travel in Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. Thousands of miles, thousands of stories. I wrote a huge long blog about it as I went. It's still up on Tramproyal and I plan to slowly overhaul that site so that I can get back to traveling and shooting. That's how I want to live my life. And I'm gonna make it happen.

This is one of the shots I captured while in Singapore. A local had told me the best place to catch the sunset without going broke, which at that time happened to be the New Asia Bar. Best view in the city. All it cost was a beer. Lots of rich people up there too, so the conversations were definitely interesting.

But, I don't want to start this story in the middle. But...I guess I am. More pics will be coming out as I go through them.

So many memories, so many stories. I can't wait to share :) I hope you enjoy them!

Michael
