In general, we will eat french fries in the fast food chains which made with potatoes.
The 「Brian Potato」I eat in Gorden Giersch restaurant is made with sweet potato which has an extra flavor of spice. 
Two types of dip with the meal attached, one is a caramel cream cheese, one is the Mersenne barbecue sauce. You can enjoy two completely different flavors at the same time, no matter you like rich cheese style or salty and sweet flavor.
We can easily get sweet potato fries at the roadside stalls in Taiwan. We always put the plum pepper or salt pepper on it. Probably because it's always fried with other meat or seafood, the potato fries had a special flavor which I will call it Taiwanese style.
It's totally different from what I eat in the Gordon Biersch. The sweet potato fries in Gordon Biersch has a happy party feel with the two dips. 
To describe food with feeling rather than the taste, because sensory stimulation sometimes affects not only smell or taste, passing through the brain, sensory stimulation often affects the mood, this is really a mysterious and interesting mechanism of the human body. 
一般我們在速食連鎖店吃的薯條大多是馬鈴薯（土豆）切成條狀下去炸的，現在越來越多地方可以吃到用地瓜（紅薯）炸的薯條，尤其是台灣到處都是鹽酥雞攤，很容易就可以吃到地瓜薯條。
我在GB鮮釀吃到的「布萊恩薯薯」，感覺像是進階版的地瓜薯條，薯條炸得酥脆不說，薯條多了一種香料的味道。
隨餐附上兩種沾醬，一種是焦糖奶油起司，一種是梅爾森烤肉醬，兩種醬料賦予薯條完全不同的兩種風味，想要濃郁奶香或是鹹甜口味任君挑選。而這兩種口味跟一般鹽酥雞攤吃到的梅子地瓜條或椒鹽地瓜條又完全不同。
鹽酥雞攤吃到的地瓜條，因為經常跟其他食材一起炸，隱隱混合了鹽酥雞攤特有的味道，對於台灣人來說，應該就是一種家鄉小吃的特殊風味，特別有親切感。
而GB鮮釀吃到的薯條，就是歐美餐廳充滿快樂氣氛的“感覺”。
用感覺來形容而非用味道來形容，是因為感官的刺激有時後影響的不只是嗅覺或味覺，經過大腦的傳遞，感官的刺激往往影響到心情的起伏，這真是個人體神祕且有趣的機制。
