I Have a Dream “月旦评”,我有一个梦想

I always take it for granted that you must hold a dream whenever you want to do something, especially when it is a great thing for you. You may strive to realize your dream, fight for it, work hard for it, and you won’t feel regretful whatever toils you have suffered for your dream.

I also assume that as a founder of a start-up enterprise, you must not only hold passions by yourself but also have the infectious power to ignite other people’s passion as well. If you want to get success in your career, it is far from enough to possess a passion by yourself, you should have so much passion that it will spill out and influence people around you. What you are doing is more than just your own business, but something that everyone will work for.

However, it is far from enough to get to your goal with plain dreams and enthusiasm. At least, it is a long way from success if you only live in your own dream. You may suddenly find something appealing to you and you may obtain some achievement with enthusiasm. However, if you want to go further and achieve better results, in the long run, continuous improved mechanism and incentives are foremost.

From the time of its founding, plus its previous activities, the "Monthly Review" program has been successfully held for 5 times( the activity to celebrate Qixi and the four "Monthly Review" events), with a total of 19 articles recommended and I do appreciate the hard work and contributions of the present judging board.

I have been thinking and looking for a whole new solution for the following two purposes from the time of foundation of “Monthly Review”:

1.We need a mechanism to effectively deal with the process and incentives;

2.The community is owned by the people, ruled by the people and shared by the people.

I think more deeply into the two issues above especially after experiencing the "winter" of the Steemit community. Incentive is beneficial to some extent to our community; however it will confront the limitations and awkwardness at a certain stage of community development. Comparatively, we can reward members in ways more than steem rewards, e.g. encourage people to publish their articles (owned by the people), to translate articles (ruled by the people), for reward sharing (shared by the people). I suppose these measures will be very important to both “Monthly Review” and the development of the entire Steemit community in either long term or short term.

(Founder of the "Monthly Review" @rivalhw)

As the founder of the "Monthly Review", surely it’s my responsibility to try my best to make it better. I have always been deeply grateful for those people who contribute to this program. However, plain gratitude is far from enough to support our dreams. Therefore, I think it is necessary for all the people in the judge board who participate in the “Monthly review” program to have opportunities to share part of the rewards, including those people who joined us subsequently. I think they deserved it, and it must not be something pretending. They must actually get their tangible rewards and win their honors.

For all the guys, who have participated in the "Monthly Review" program, should also be rewarded with incentive, especially those who have tried strenuously hard to won the final award should get more rewards.

We are willing to share the monthly revenue generated by the “Monthly Review” with those who have participated in the translation of the articles. We have no restrictions on time to do the translation job and it’s up to you to determine.

For all other guys who want to contribute to the "Monthly Review" program, you can do whatever you can, whether it is a supportive word, a suggestion, or a creative idea, all will be more than welcomed. We will also consider implementing some incentive mechanism for these contributions as well.

Certainly, we need time to reach our goal; all dreams need a process to be implemented. Particularly it is very difficult at the very beginning and things may be imperfect. We are convinced that as long as we are following the right path, and we have been working hard, then it only takes time.

The preliminary plan is still under development. I hope all of you will continue to pay attention and I am ready for your suggestions.

1、需要有一套有效的流程机制和激励措施;

2、实现社区民有、民治和民享;
