My most favorite gourmet of Japan is the pork cutlet. I tried many famous pork cutlet of popular restaurant with good word of mouth in Tokyo. It is impossible to eat super delicious pork cutlet oversea. No doubt, the quality of pork and the cooking technique of the Japanese chef can only be found in Japan. This day, I went to the Top 5 pork cutlet restaurant that was voted by net fans of tabelog, “Marugo”.
日本的とんかつ炸豬扒是我最喜愛的食物,比壽司和拉麵等更加喜歡,話說東京最受歡迎的とんかつ食店已經征服了八九成,因為炸豬扒在日本以外基於豬肉來源及料理方法,近乎沒有可能在外國做出如此出色竹戈炸豬扒料理,這天去了東京網民投選最受歡迎炸豬扒店五強之一「丸五」。
日本的とんかつ炸猪排是我最喜爱的食物,比寿司和拉面等更加喜欢,话说东京最受欢迎的とんかつ食店已经征服了八九成,因为炸猪排在日本以外基于猪肉来源及料理方法,近乎没有可能在外国做出如此出色竹戈炸猪排料理,这天去了东京网民投选最受欢迎炸猪排店五强之一「丸五」。
“Marugo” of Akihabara was founded in 1975. It was my second time to eat here. On that day, I arrived the restaurant around 11:00 am just half hour before it opened. There were already six to seven guest on the queue. Around 11:25 am, guests entered the restaurant one by one. ”Taste good or not? Let’s explode your stomach with Goodboy Philip!”
「丸五」1975年在秋葉原創業,這天是我第二次來吃的一間とんかつ店,這天在開店前來到,有六七人在排隊,等了三十分鐘食店就開門順序入座,食店有兩層,下層日式食堂式的廚房。「好不好吃?跟好孩子PHILIP 爆食下去!」
「丸五」1975年在秋叶原创业,这天是我第二次来吃的一间とんかつ店,这天在开店前来到,有六七人在排队,等了三十分钟食店就开门顺序入座,食店有两层,下层日式食堂式的厨房。「好不好吃?跟好孩子PHILIP 爆食下去!」
Last time I tried the Pork Fillet(ヒレかつ)and this time, Pork Loin(ロースかつ). These two dishes are served in almost all pork cutlet restaurant. For this time, I simply wanted to eat Pork Loin. 450 Yen discount off if I didn’t need set lunch: No rice, miso soup and appetizer.
上次吃的牛腰肉(ヒレ),這次是背肌肉(ロース),這兩款是差不多所有炸豬扒店都會提供這兩個部位。因為我是單純想吃炸豬扒「特ロースかつ」,所以點了「單品」,不要白飯、前菜和味噌湯可以便宜450 Yen。

“Marugo” uses low temperature oil to deep fry the pork cutlet. Hence the color of the fried pork is in light orange color. The fried surface was thin and crispy. I ate the pork cutlet from left to right. The meat was fat, thin, halfly fat and fat. The texture of pork was above average. However, comparing with the best pork loin cutlet, it was still far away. I would say, “Marugo” was rank around Ten my list. I will show you the toppest Tokatsu in future.
「丸五」豬扒以低溫油炸,所以炸脆皮層顏色比較淺色,咬下一口,麵衣薄而酥脆,喜歡薄炸的會喜歡。而豬扒由左吃起,先肥、瘦、肥,厚度適中,肉質來說是高於標準,如果以我吃過最好吃的とんかつ,尚有距離。不過,口味這東西,還是很個人喜好,畢竟食店在 Tabelog 評分接近 4 分算是很強的。將來我會寫東京都內個人認為最好吃的炸豬扒。
「丸五」猪排以低温油炸,所以炸脆皮层颜色比较浅色,咬下一口,面衣薄而酥脆,喜欢薄炸的会喜欢。而猪排由左吃起,先肥、瘦、肥,厚度适中,肉质来说是高于标准,如果以我吃过最好吃的とんかつ,尚有距离。不过,口味这东西,还是很个人喜好,毕竟食店在 Tabelog 评分接近 4 分算是很强的。将来我会写东京都内个人认为最好吃的炸猪排。
The most impressive point of the restaurant was that they firstly served green tea. At the end of the meal, they served the wheat tea to alleviate the greasy taste. That’s excellent among all pork cutlet restaurant of Tokyo.
雖然「丸五」豬扒不是我最愛,但是她有一個很好的優點其他炸豬扒食店沒有的,就是她會給你兩種茶,進入店先給你綠茶,到吃完炸豬扒後,會奉上麥茶。麥茶能減低炸物的油脂感,有消滯的效果。這樣很貼心。
虽然「丸五」猪扒不是我最爱,但是她有一个很好的优点其他炸猪扒食店没有的,就是她会给你两种茶,进入店先给你绿茶,到吃完炸猪扒后,会奉上麦茶。麦茶能减低炸物的油脂感,有消滞的效果。这样很贴心。
After finished the meal, I went to Flea Market in Akihabara. It is mostly held on Sunday. There were some people selling valuable toys, either over priced or great bargain. You could do treasure hunt there!
飯後去了星期日秋葉原的跳蚤市場,那裡會有很多人擺賣玩具和雜貨,有珍貴的私藏物品,價格有便宜也有昂貴的,大家週日經過不妨到驚安殿堂後街尋寶?
