Japanese has a “standing style restaurant” culture. The targeted customers are mainly for the busy people or for those whom don’t mind about the taste. These restaurants are mostly located near the train station. Although selling “conveniency” is the main theme, it doesn’t mean the food was taste bad. Most of them are B class gourmet of Japan!

日本一直有立食店的文化,目標顧客群以一些趕時間及純粹以填飽肚子為目的為主,這些立食店很多時候都會在車站旁邊開店,提供的食材都是很簡單的例如烏冬和蕎麥面,這些被視為日本的 B 級美食,一直很受日本人歡迎。

I came from Tokyo to Yokohama tonight and stayed for one night because I had AKB48 “Fans Idol Life” a day after. Hence I simply had a quick soba dinner in standing style restaurant before check in hotel. ”Taste good or not? Let’s explode your stomach with Goodboy Philip!”

這天我晚上從東京去了橫濱住一晚第二天參加 AKB48 握手會活動,於是簡單的在 check in 前吃了這個快捷方便的そば。「好不好吃?跟好孩子PHILIP 爆食下去!」

This Soushuu Soba Restaurant was founded in 1966 and was food chain in Yokohama. There are no seat in the restaurant. All guests needed to stand near the bar or table to eat. Guests simply enter the restaurant, look at the big menu above and order and pay directly to the staff.

相州そば是橫濱立食連鎖店,這間是1966年創業本店。因為是立食店,所以內裡沒有座位,只有企位。食客進店內,抬頭看看餐單招牌,直接跟料理人落單付錢。

I had ordered beef soba. The chef was so efficient that finished the cooking process in 3-5 minutes: hand wash the soba, throw the water, pour the soba into the bowl, put the beef from the standized bag, pour the hot sauce to the bowl and add the green onion. Very fast!

我點了肉そば,料理人非常勤快,在水盤拿起そば以湯水滾兩下,再過一過水,放そば到碗內,從保鮮袋開出特定好份量的牛肉上面,然後倒上熱湯,加點青蔥,整個過程不用五分鐘!

Although the cooking process was simple, it provided quick and convenient meal as main purpose. I satisfied the meal that the taste was not bad at all. Paying 500 Yen for the meal was better than buying heated food for same price in convenient store for sure!

雖然食材製作過程簡單,但是吃立食求方便快捷,味道不差就可以,而且這個肉麵與湯味道匹配,價錢便宜,500Yen 比去便利店買一個沒靈魂的微波爐加熱便當好十倍呢!

After eating quick dinner, I went across Kannai Shopping Street and checkin capsule hotel. Sleep well and join AKB48 “Fans Idol Live” a day after!
