This night, Goodboy Philip went to the district where he used to go to school in the morning everyday in the past: Takadanobaba. At that period, I mainly studied at school during day time and didn’t stay till night. Hence, I didn’t eat in Takadanobaba at night frequently. I thought of one targeted restaurant here this night. The main reason was not only the tastes, but also the price of dinner here was reasonable. "Taste good or not? Let’s explode your stomach with Goodboy Philip! "

這晚來到好孩子曾經每天早上上學必到的車站,高田馬場。因為是日間上學,很少逗留到那麼夜去吃飯,這天想起有一間目標食店在這裡,最重要是日夜相同價格,也不算昂貴,因為日本很多食店的日夜價格可以相差很遠呢。「好不好吃?跟好孩子PHILIP 爆食下去!」

这天晚上来到好孩子曾经每天早上上学必到的车站,高田马场。因为是日间上学,很少逗留到那么夜去吃饭,这天想起有一间目标食店在这里,最重要是日夜相同价格,也不算昂贵,因为日本很多食店的日夜价格可以相差很远呢。「好不好吃?跟好孩子PHILIP 爆食下去!」

This Target Restaurant mainly serve Udon that is the famous Udon restaurant among Udon lovers in Tokyo. You can walk about six to seven minutes to the restaurant. The chef of the restaurant hand made Udon himself. Once the udon was sold out, the shop closed. And this udon store was awarded as Japan Tabelog (The most famous online gourmet website) as Tokyo Top 100 famous restaurant. The udon lovers frequently go to it that is located at the back street of Takananobaba.

這間烏冬店是東京中堅份子,距離高田馬場站步行六七分鐘,有自家的製的麵台造烏冬,每日賣完就關店,加上吃的方法很多,引來很多愛烏冬的食客前來,食店也被選為日本食べログ東京百大名店之一,是藏在後街隱敝美食店!

这间乌龙面店是东京中坚份子,距离高田马场站步行六七分钟,有自家的制的面台造乌龙面,每日卖完就关店,加上吃的方法很多,引来很多爱乌龙面的食客前来,食店也被选为日本食べログ东京百大名店之一,是藏在后街隐敝美食店!

The type of Udon that the restaurant serves, are Sanuki Udon (讚岐烏冬). There are many types of eating methods in udon culture. For example, Kake Udon (Pure boiled water), Kamaage Udon (udon on pan pot), Zaru Udon (Chilled udon noodles topped with shredded), Bukkake (mixed soy sauce with udon) etc. There are wide variety of choices!

餐廳以自家手打讚岐烏冬,菜單上有很多吃法的烏冬。日本人吃烏冬有很多學問,單以讚岐烏冬系列,演變出很多吃法。例如かけうどん(清湯烏冬)、釜揚げうどん(盤鍋烏冬)、ざるうどん(筲箕去水烏冬)、ぶっかけ(混醬汁烏冬)等。

餐厅以自家手打赞岐乌龙面,菜单上有很多吃法的乌龙面。日本人吃乌龙面有很多学问,单以赞岐乌龙面系列,演变出很多吃法。例如かけうどん(清汤乌龙面)、釜扬げうどん(盘锅煮乌龙面)、ざるうどん(筲箕乌龙面)、ぶっかけ(混酱汁乌龙面)等。

The most popular dish of the restaurant is “Two Udon Combo” 「2種うどん」(かけうどん, ぶっかけ) or (わかめ, 生醤油) . Cold and hot udon gave you different tastes in four seasons. You can select two sauces. Other than udon, you had to select the food toppings on the combo. I ordered

食店人气菜单为九百円的冷热二食乌龙面「2种うどん」(かけうどん, ぶっかけ)或(わかめ, 生醤油)。是冷热二食四季皆宜的乌龙面,另外食客可以自己配搭配料食材,这天我加了「赞岐天」(炸蛋、竹轮、炸鸡件)四百五十円。

下單後料理人說需要等十五分鐘料理,請耐心等候。沒問題!為好吃的,值得等!

The one was soy sauce mixed with cold udon. It was suitable for the strong taste lover. I like that!

Another one was the mixing of seaweed, green onions and mushroom slides in warm water and pure soup. You don’t need to pour sauce into the soup but directly eat it. The taste was pure.

How about the food toppings? Chikuwa, is the long tube of food that is made from fish. The fried style was contrast to the smooth udon taste!

配料竹輪 (ちくわ) 是日本人吃烏冬的熱門配料,即是香港說的獅子狗魚蛋,多以炸物形式作煮法,它脆炸的口感跟烏冬的軟滑形成強烈對比。

See how high quality of the fried egg? The egg yulk was still in fluid while surrounded by the hot and fried starch!

The fried chicken was also delicious that was juicy without dry!

The udon was flexible and smooth. I preferred the cold one because it made it even more flexible to eat. The watered udon would be like soft noodle, that’s not my cup of tea. Hehe…No doubt, even though the restaurant is not located in travel area or on the main street, the high quality and wide variety of udon attracted many udon lovers going there. I would recommend those udon lovers to try this!

說到主角,烏冬麵條較彈牙嫩滑,個人口味喜歡冷食食法,吃完真的明白為什麼這小店那麼多東京食客喜歡。這食店位置不在旅遊區,也不是一般路人會隨意經過的大街食店,算是真的喜歡吃烏冬的愛好者才會特意走去的!如果你愛吃烏冬,不要放過啊!

说到主角,乌龙面面条较弹牙嫩滑,个人口味喜欢冷食食法,吃完真的明白为什么这小店那么多东京食客喜欢。这食店位置不在旅游区,也不是一般路人会随意经过的大街食店,算是真的喜欢吃乌龙面的爱好者才会特意走去的!如果你爱吃乌龙面,不要放过啊!

After eating this delicioius udon, I walked to station and saw a lot of students gathering there. Right, coz Takadanobaba is the schools area in Tokyo!

I didn’t want to go back yet and just went to Ikebukuro in Toshima ku, not far away from Takadanobaba. There is a big book store Junkudo with over 6 floors. I like reading books there when I were in Japan. Moreover, it closed around 23:00 pm that is so good for those don’t wanna go home! Hahaha…
