Cable cars are no fun when you have a mild fear of heights -- especially when you see doors hanging by their hinges on passing cars. Still, in Wuxi, it was a bit worth it. In Xihui Park, you can take a trip to the top of Huishan mountain and get a good view of the city and it's skyline. It costs money to get into the park, and the ride up the mountain costs extra. I bought a round trip ticket.
At first, I was managing my fear of heights pretty well. I kept telling myself, "Eyes forward, and do not look down."
Of course, seeing half a dozen cable cars looking like this doesn't help with confidence.
Once at the top, I decided not take the return trip back down. I am such a coward.
