中秋佳节话月饼 Mooncake talks

Mooncake is a symbolic food for Mid-autumn festival, similar to thanksgiving, this holiday in September is for family get-together and mooncake is the best gift. Various types of mooncakes are made: Cantonese style are normally sweet and has lotus seed paste filling, Taiwanese style has red bean paste filling, and Shanghai style has pork mince filling (similar to dumplings filling).

经常是离中秋还有好几个月商场就摆上了月饼,这个季节性和礼仪性极强的食物到现在象征性意义已经远大于实际意义以后,为什么我们还要送月饼和吃月饼呢,吃的就是团圆的味道吧,仿佛没有经过吃月饼的仪式这个中秋节就不完整了。

传统的月饼的舞台也逐渐没有了往年的风光,倒是各种新式月饼成了网红。前几年是冰淇淋月饼,冰皮月饼成了硬通货,今年据我观察,送礼最火的是据说限量的香港美心出品的流心奶黄月饼最火爆,官方的渠道一直是断货状态,还看到网上有人发帖求能买到正品的方式,可见这年头月饼也要年年出创新才有生命力。

上海人民则热衷于在传统的鲜肉月饼上做各种新口味,前两年融合了鲜笋和咸肉的腌笃鲜月饼在南京路上排了长队上了报纸和电视,因为产量有限每个人还限量只能买3盒,我明智地过了中秋才去买,确实挺好吃,不过不用排队好像就少了那种期待了很久千辛万苦只为了这一口的紧张感。今年排队依旧,网红主角则从腌笃鲜月饼换成了小龙虾月饼,还是那条熟悉的长队,还是每人限量的噱头。

凑热闹这么困难,那就尝尝经典的莲蓉双黄吧,老字号,经典口味,每年都会吃。

恰到好处的咸蛋黄,出了油但是还保持了酥软的口感,配上不过分甜口感细腻的莲蓉馅,确实是经典广式月饼的口味哦!
