Traveling the World #67 (Europe Series) Explore Edinburgh City @ Sc...

Hi Steemians,

Today I will continue to take you around Edinburgh City as there are loads to see. We were only there for the weekend but we saw so many different sites and we didn't feel rushed at all. If you have missed the first part of touring Edinburgh city, you can find it here.

今天我會繼續帶你們到愛丁堡市看看因為這個城市實在有太多東西看。雖然有很多景點要去但其實我們走得非常輕鬆一點都不累。如果你想看昨天的介紹，你可以到這裡看看

Next stop we went to St Giles' Cathedral. The cathedral has a gothic look on the exterior. While we were there, it was very dark and quite so we took a few photos and left. We saw the Scottish Saints window which was extremely pretty.

下一站我們到聖吉爾斯大教堂. 這座教堂我覺得有點哥德風格。我們參觀期間，教堂裡非常暗和很靜所以我們很快的照幾張照片就離開了。在教堂裡面我們看見Scottish Saints 的窗戶- 非常漂亮。

While we were visiting that weekend, it was the Edinburgh Festival Fringe just like a comedy festival. There were many groups promoting their gigs to the public. There were music everywhere any people were just on stools to get noticed. There was a group in particular which was so funny I stood there watching their performance for awhile. They are a Japanese group who just acts out and doesn't say a word but they were already making everyone laugh. It was a shame I couldn't see their performance at night as we already have dinner planned out.

我們在愛丁堡期間，剛剛是他們一年一度的愛丁堡國際藝穗節。街上有很多團體跟大家介紹他們表演，可以在哪裡看到他們的演出等等。有些表演者會在很高的地方讓途人注意他們。有一個組合我非常喜歡就是一個日本的團體。他們一句話都沒有講但他們的動作已經然很多人大笑，包括我哈哈。有一點可惜我不可以在當天晚上不可以看他們的表演因為我們已經訂了一個特別的晚餐。如果再來，我會下一次在看他們的表演

Unfortunately our friend had to go back to the hotel as something came up at work so the rest of us continued on exploring the city. He later joined us for dinner

我不來要到下一個景點，但我們一個朋友要回酒店做點公司的事情所以其他人就介紹到下一個景點

Then we went past Nelson Monument which is a commemorative tower for Vice Admiral Horacio Nelson source. The tower is to commemorate Neilson' victory over the French and Spanish fleets at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 where he also died in the same battle.

我們到了納爾遜紀念塔。這個塔是為了紀念在1805年特拉法加戰役中擊敗法國和西班牙艦隊和納爾遜也在同一個戰爭中彈陣亡 source。

A short walk later, we arrived at Carlton Hill. There were so many people there enjoying the view and the big grass area was a great resting place after a long walk.

我們繼續走就到卡尔顿山. 這裡很多人在欣賞這裡的風景還有可以在草地上休息一下。

The National Monument is also at Carlton Hill and it was a great place to take some photos. It is Scotland's national memorial for their solders and sailors who fought and died at the Napoleonic Wars. We were lucky to have good weather on the day we after some photos we went back to the grass area and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon.
