"Shadow Mandala" a collaborative art journey with @everlove

It is very exciting when one creative project leads to the next and my theme today seems to be playing with photographs!

If you are not familiar with @everlove's Collaborative Art Journey calls to action, I highly recommend you add her to your follow list and check out her latest invitation:

INVITATION: Collaborative Art Journey..."Shadow Mandala" -- This is your invitation to Collaborate! Whatever your expression, BRING IT ON!

I am calling this:

Memories in Shadow

Meredith Loughran, collaborate, art, photography

As I stared at @everlove's "Shadow Mandala" I was really at a loss with what I could do with it. Then this morning I posted submissions for the Steemit Photo Challenge -- so if a big part of this collaborative piece looks familiar - it should.

You can see my photos here

The third photo is "secretly" my favorite, and as @meesterboom so eloquently stated, because it is "perhaps the most poignant."

You see, this is the lake where we gathered to spend a wonderful weekend to spread my father's ashes. That's when I visualized this piece.

Here are the three photos that I worked from:

I thought about adding more photos to have a collage effect but upon sitting back and looking at it, I said, "It is enough."

Come play with us!

The deadline to be included in @everlove's post featuring all participants is Wednesday, March 8 -- and in keeping with her guidelines, you are free to use my final image in your own collaborative piece.
