This Red-Breasted Nuthatch is framed nicely, with some greens of the late spring. He's diving into the feeder for some Safflower seed, almost too fast for us to see... Dragging the shutter (making it slow down or making a longer exposure than is expected) gives the photo a sense of motion, or life.
Oh, how I miss that spring view. It's Early January now, and there's snow everywhere, with another 15 inches project (almost a METER!!!).
