Colourchallenge Wednesday Yellow - Wilson's Warbler

_DSC2451.jpg

As is often the case, I try and process one image as soon as I finish shooting for the day. That way, I get at least one instant reward, from my day's efforts. Today, I shot about 600 bird images and another 50 or so landscape, 50 Lighthouse images.

So, here are two shots from the day. Above and Below, a Wilson's Warbler.
I am fairly comfortable with Shorebird ID. Not great, but decent enough, and also, have plenty of books to check out when I get home, and find out those I am unsure of. Songbird's? Nooooo...

At Parker River National Wildlife Reserve, (Plum Island, for those of you around Boston), when a caravan of Audubon cars is stopped, with about 20 people with binoculars, scopes and big lenses are all looking at one tree, it was worth stopping to see what there was to see.

This wonderful Wilson's Warbler. The best part? With all those Audubon peeps, peeping the li'l Warbler, no need for me to ID him! Seemed perfect for The Color Challenge - Wednesday Yellow - Photo Challenge started by @kalemandra. #colorchallenge #photocontests
