Sometimes, The Night Is Green
A sense of, 'What will the night be?'
Having things all ready,
and the guests not yet there,
the excitement, the anticipation.
... you want the night to be begin,
but fear that it won't be good.
So, this point in time,
...this is the best time of night.
I love this feeling. The night is coming. The people, too.
But for now, I am waiting to see what comes of it.
