Shopping for Tents

I've been reviewing tents for the past week or so and, one night last week when I took the dogs down the beach, there was this Terra Nova Laser Competition pitched on the green in front of the tennis courts. I wandered over and peeked in and ended up having a great conversation with the camper. He was cycling round the island, taking his time and camping here and there. He heartily recommended his tent, but I ended up going for an MSR Hubba Hubba NX2. I wanted something that was a true two-person tent and had enough space for playing cards if I'm with my daughter or wife or son on a two-person hike.
