Thanks to THR, we now have word that DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns will be leaving his post to enter into an exclusive deal with DC Entertainment to write and produce new films; the first being Green Lantern Corps. Current DC Entertainment publisher Jim Lee will take over the position while continuing to act as publisher with Dan DiDio. The two have worked together since 2010. This comes after last week’s exit of Diane Nelson, DC Entertainment’s president, to whom Johns reported.
The series will tackle subject matter including white supremacy and sex workers struggling to survive in a repressed future dystopia.
