Last go round I managed to attract two contestants. To keep things fair, Inari picked the winner.
I have taken advice to heart and will make a couple of changes, hoping to get more people involved.
First change is the length of time allowed. Earth Day is coming up on the 22nd. So, to give folks time and to take advantage of Earth Day, the contest will stretch 20 days, giving you until the 24th to get those walks posted!
The second change, I will have TWO winners. First place gets 10 SBD and the Second place prize will be 5 SBD. If the contest gets enough attention I will add to the prize pool accordingly.
Now, to out my total nerdy side, we had community day on Pokemon Go during the last contest. It was a last minute idea, but I asked the locals to clean up while they were out catching their Bublasaurs. And they showed up with only an hour's notice!
Several people took part, one even went out after the event because she did not see my post until then.
Steemit can do better, be present and let's do this together!
