Hello Steemians..
Prepairing food is an interesting and simple process . First make arrangement and then cooking.
What does it take to make food for masses...i.e for lots of people.??
In village in any ocassion, most of the work are taken by people themselves rather than depending on caterers. Today I have been into such ocassion, and will bring the preparation of PURI , kind of indian bread made up of wheat flour, fried in oil.
To prepare Puri, first of all the wheat flour are blended with water and beaded properly. Then small ball rolls are made out of the mixed flour.
The small rolls are then flatted using a roller. The roller is called Belan in hindi. The rolls are flatted properly to make it flat bread
The flatted bread are then, put into the heated oil to fry. One by one the bigger utensil called Kadhai can take atleast 50 puri at once.
Put the flat bread into kadhai to fry properly. Make sure to take proper precaution while putting the bread into Kadhai else the hot oil may get into your body. Keep moving the bread to fry properly so that each of them do not get burned.
So this is the final step in making the puri. On the hand just to make you aware of the roller...here are the empty roller after all the beads get rolled.
The fried bread called Puri are prepaired abd slowly taken out of the Kadhai and keep it seperatelly.
This is the way that local catering are donev , Puri are then served hot with curry or and cooked vegetables.
So my lovely Steemians, hope you enjoyed the cooking for the masses.....its time for the lunch, and i have to eat one of the Puri just made.
Keep Steeming...Steem on !!
