In this crypto-art-and-design-challenge-round-7, Steem edition, I choose the Bauhaus movement as inspiration.
The Bauhaus (name derived from the union of the German words "Bau": construction and "Haus": house) became not only the first design school of the 20th century but also an entire artistic movement that became an international reference point for architecture, art and design.
The characteristics of the graphic design of the Bauhaus are the unadorned printing, the articulation and accentuation of pages with different symbols or of typographic elements highlighted in colour, and the information finally direct in a combination of text and photography, for which the name "Typefoto" was created. Typography is the communication composed with types, photography is the visual representation of what can be captured optically; "typography" is the most accurate visual representation of communication.
In the Bauhaus, typographic systematization is sought. It is important to emphasize clarity, because legibility must be above aesthetics.
Process:
I started to play around whit come basics figures.
Later, I added text, on different typographic stiles. The text I select was taken from: https://steem.io/
Finally I added some details, and balanced colours.
