Blocked & Loaded: Why Blockchain Technology Matters and What it can do for You

Nathan Hourt, the CTO of Follow My Vote (hey, that's me!) recently gave a seminar at Harding University on how blockchain technology works. The presentation covers the purpose and value of blockchain technology, how it works (transaction history, consensus protocols, proof of work vs. proof of stake, etc), and some of the use cases for it.

This seminar was presented to the Computer Science Department at Harding University, but it is targeted to a fairly general audience. No prior education on blockchains or computer science is necessary to understand this presentation.
