Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Bitcoin: Bridges, High Rises, and Token Conversions

Have you heard of the game Six Degrees of Separation from Kevin Bacon? The idea is to name an actor or actress and connect them through the movies they've been in with other actors and actresses until you find Kevin Bacon. Well, today, we're going to play Six Degrees of Separation from Jesus and end up with Bitcoin.

Ready?

  1. Jesus was from Nazareth
  2. Nazareth sang "Love Hurts"
  3. John Hurt was in 1984
  4. The author of 1984 was a socialist
  5. Some forms of socialism are decentralized
  6. Bitcoin is based on a decentralized peer-to-peer network

Okay, I know what you're thinking: That hurt more than love. Watch this and you'll change your mind.

Now, let's talk about Bitcoin, and Coinbase, and Tron, and all of that jazz.

Crypto News

The news that everybody is talking about today is that Bitcoin bounced back up over $8,000. I knew it would happen too. I could tell by the way he was walking.

Here in America, and I can guess just about everywhere else too, politics and lies go hand in hand--sort of like Bitcoin and decentralization. As it turns out, Coinbase pulled a Richard Nixon and lied to everyone (but not on TV) just about the time they decided to start a political action committee (PAC). Coincidence?

Now that we've determined that Coinbase looks like Richard Nixon, let's talk about national security. Or, wallet security. It turns out that MyEtherWallet actually cares about security, and that's why they've invested in a mobile app for secure logins. If the Democratic National Headquarters had one of those in 1972, Charles Colson might never have gone to jail and G. Gordon Liddy could be a proud owner of an AK-47. Oh, the tales we wrought!

But Colson was converted while in prison, and today, we can talk proudly of another conversion. Thankfully, Tron didn't have to go to prison to get Binance to accept its ERC20 tokens for conversion. Baptize thy coin, you true believer!

#Wanchain is building bridges and decided to go right ahead and build one to Ethereum. No baptism necessary.

Binance is partnering with #Neufund to build a decentralized exchange, and who isn't for that? Stick it to Nixon! I mean, Coinbase. Let's just say -- "the man!"

And in China, they're trying to shut down "illegal" Bitcoin miners. You know 'em when you see those funky lights on their heads.

Crypto Analysis

The top analyses today are centered on Bitcoin, #crypto exchanges, and a bunch of #altcoins. Three of my favorite kind of donuts.

For starters, CryptoComes performed an analysis of #Bitstamp, #Kraken, and Coinbase to see which one is the best exchange. You'll never guess which one came out the winner.

Bitcoin's new rally is leaving the altcoins scrambling for a position in the round robin. Any idea who's going to end up riding side by side with pole position out of the gate?

Top cryptocurrency leaders infiltrated Fortune's list of 40 under 40, which makes me wonder who's wearing their Fruit of the Looms.

And one of the best technical analyses today starts with #EOS and ends with #IOTA. As if I give one of those. Read this just to see what happens with Tron.

Avast, the security company, went to Brazil to search for some nuts. Actually, they found those back home. But they wanted to know how many people in the Latin American country were interested in crypto. They discovered it's well over 30%. And that is kind of nuts.

As usual, I've taken no Bitcoin, nuts, or bribes to mention companies in this post. I'm your humble #editor at Blockchain Times where you'll find more incredible news just like this. Now, enjoy some nuts.
