Charlie's last day at Coinbase was Friday, June 9th, 2017.
He tweeted on that around that time in June, that he was leaving to focus on Litecoin and with all the news going on with Bitcoin, which shares the same codebase with Litecoin.
I think this is great timing, considering everything going on in the Crypto space for LiteCoin to continue to shine and remain stable and grab those level-up increases in value, market cap and stats.
I love me some $LTC and Charlie Lee!
If you look at the 24h Volume chart/column here, LTC is blowing Ethereum out of the water by around ~22% or so LOL:

Here's the May 3rd article I did when $LTC had a massive MOONSHOT to $23 USD nearly 4 months ago now:
So if you are keeping track then yes, about ~120 days ago, it was $23 USD and today August 27th, it crossed the $60 mark.
And guess what?
On April 5th 2017 about ~140 days ago...... LTC was about $11 USD, as it was hitting ATH's around that time as your charts will show, above.
And about 2 weeks before that so roughly March 25th, it was in the $5 and $8 range as the gains started as you can see by a past article I did here:

I'm a big fan of Charlie and Litecoin and have blogged and tweeted on him/Litecoin quite a bit!
Here's me tweeting him that day he left Coinbase, to wish him well!
Charlie is well known, respected and liked in the crypto space.
Litecoin for those who do not know was basically the 2nd crypto coin on the scene behind bitcoin.
It is a well established coin and community and Charlie knows his stuff, nobody debates this.
LiteCoin is amazing, and the gains have been hard fought for, and well deserved!!! God bless ya Charlie!
