Huobi Research Survey Shows Most Cryptocurrency Investors Still Bullish

Huobi's educational subsidiary 'Huobi Research' conducted a survey to around two thousand individuals from 23 different countries regarding their view towards cryptocurrency market today.

Despite the sliding in value of cryptocurrencies over the past three months, the survey says 78% of those polled were still bullish over the next 3 years.

Short-term market sentiment of investors is optimistic with 26% to believe a substantial increase and 29.6% to believe a slight increase.

For mid-term market expectation, 51.1% believe there will be substantial increase in the markets and 26.5% vote for a slight increase.

Lastly, 77.9% believe that the market will substantially increase in long-term and 10.1% believe that it will slightly increase.


Online Brokerage Robinhood Launches Commission-Free Trading In Four US States

The Palo Alto, California-based online brokerage Robinhood Financial has launched commission-free trading for BTC & ETH across Massachusetts, Montana, Missouri and California.

The Robinhood app supports not only cryptocurrencies but also stocks, ETF trading and options.

More US states will be able to use the app in the future and the rollout will be done in a gradual manner.

They also plan to add more altcoins in the near future.


Seoul, South Korea Is Planning To Develop Its Own Cryptocurrency

The capital city of South Korea, Seoul, is planning to launch its own cryptocurrency, the 'S-Coin'.

According to the City Mayor Park Won-soon, S-Coin will be used in city-funded social benefits programs.

Aside from launching its own crypto, Seoul will also raise fund to support blockchain technology & related startups advancement in the city.

He also stressed that Seoul is a leading city in the information & communication field and that studying new technologies such as blockchain is a must.
