A Leading Japanese Financial Exchange Begins To Plan For Bitcoin Futures

The Tokyo Financial Exchange has recently announced that they are already starting preparations for BTC futures offerings at the beginning January of next year.

The company claims to have prominent partners such as JP Morgan and Barclays.

It is also said in the announcement that the they are forming a team of researchers to study cryptocurrencies and the potential of futures this January.


A Bulgarian International Business School Offers Bitcoin-based Scholarships

The Varna University of Management (VUM) in Bulgaria has recently announced that they will be granting bitcoin-based scholarships to ten applicants for the University's software engineering bachelor's program.

The students will have the option to receive the scholarship fund for 1,000 EUR in the equivalent amount of BTC.

The scholarship grants will begin from Fall 2018 semester.

In addition, the school is also planning to integrate BTC payments for tuition and accommodation fees, which is expected to be finalized soon.

Meanwhile, its computer science department is adding modules that cover blockchain and digital assets and will be added to the existing bachelor's program in software engineering.


South African Traffic Authorities Now Accepts Bitcoin As Payment For Traffic Fines

The owner of Fines 4 u said that clients can get a price quote in BTC for paying the fines from the service.
