Chicago Board Of Trade (CBOE) Files for Six Bitcoin-Based ETFs

A week after it launched its Bitcoin futures products, CBOE has filed for six individual exchange-traded funds (ETF) and is currently waiting for approval from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

With the success of Bitcoin futures, the options giant is positive on the approval to list Bitcoin-based ETF on the Bats BZX Exchange.

Recently, companies like Vaneck and REX also filed for Bitcoin ETFs with US SEC.


DydX, A Decentralized Exchange For Cryptocurrency Derivatives Is Set To Launch Middle Of Next Year

The in-development decentralized exchange for cryptocurrency derivatives has currently raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round.

One of the big companies that backed this project is Coinbase and the funding is a notable step for DydX in developing the first ever decentralized crypto-derivatives exchange.

The platform being built on Ethereum and 0x where its open protocol is powered by smart contracts.

DydX platform is currently on private beta and is set to launch on the market middle next year.
