Huobi Plans To Launch Office In The United States

The largest China-based cryptocurrency exchange, Huobi is currently planning to launch an office in San Francisco.

The plan was revealed by the Chief Strategy Officer Cai Kailong in a US-China Blockchain conference titled 'Blockchain Connect' on January 26, 2018.

The Huobi US headquarters will be built in the Silicon Valley area.


The SEC Rigorous but Positive Stand on ICOs and Cryptocurrency

In the attempt to balance between grasping a technological revolution and avoiding the stifling of innovation in order to provide guidance operating and complying with existing regulatory requirements, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has been very careful in its statements on ICOs and cryptocurrrency.

All things relating to cryptocurrency to have proper guidance and ease of process was also tackled including the protection of investors from malicious fund raisings.

TZero, a subsidiary of Overstock, has launched their own security token ICO, hoping for creating the first SEC regulated cryptocurreny Alternative Trading System (ATS), by providing a trading platform for security tokens in the future.
