It's Sunday, but the world of cryptocurrency never sleeps! I have another batch of news that I would like to present to you as it is very important to give the information away for others too!
OBITS/NEO
OBITS haven't updated their site about the price change yet, but it doesn't matter as I wanted to talk about something completely different though and that are the dividends that you can get by holding OBITS.Have you read @kingscrown's post about the NEO (@kingscrown/how-to-use-neo-and-mine-free-gas-100-sp-post)?
NEO was previously called AntShares. It is like a Chinese Ethereum and you can stake NEO to get GAS. Ethereum also has a gas, but it is part of Ethereum itself. With NEO, GAS is a completely different coin with its own price.
When I saw the post I was really wondering if it is even worth it to hold OBITS if you can stake NEO instead. You have to bear in mind that 50% of the OpenLedger's profits are shared as dividends and the another 50% is a OBITS buy-back. OBITS that are bought-back are burned later. This also means that the price should always increase.
For 150 OBITS, which with a current price is like 150$, you could get 0.4411 USD. I bought them for much less than that though. I think there will be another great chance to get into the OBITS market later if you really like to get these dividends.
On the other hand, I am not sure if OBITS are really worth it right now. I know that OpenLedger will be more popular as time goes on, but NEO will be probably more popular too!
The website calculation (https://neotogas.com) says that for 5 NEO, which with the current price is a little bit above 150$, you can get 0.0304 GAS per month and that is 0,4298$. Both NEO and GAS can also increase in price same as OBITS. Also GAS will always be important, because GAS is needed to the make transactions.
I will probably look into it more and you should too. These coins will not be on these prices that much longer!
CARS
Looks like Lamborghini and McLaren in Newport Beach, California are now proudly accepting Bitcoin payments on their websites for their cars.It is not really a new information, because they had been doing it for quite some time now.
However, that is not the best part! From their instagram image they posted to over 130K followers the author lambonewportbeach clearly replied to one of the users that they are accepting Ethereum too! Is Steem coming next?
It totally make sense to accept cryptocurrencies though. These people know that the price will go higher so they will actually make even more money on the car sale.
Humble Bundle
When some companies starts to accept cryptocurrency payments, some companies starts to reject them. Humble Bundle, the biggest site where you can pay what you want for a bundle of games and help a charity and the gaming company at the same time, is one of them.Funny thing is that the Humble Bundle is headquartered in California too. They have been rejecting Bitcoin for a few years now, but it is actually sad to see a competent company making as bad decision as this one.
I wrote them a small message, because I really want to know why it is still not possible to use Bitcoins and why they didn't put it back on yet. Not even GOG is accepting cryptocurrencies!
Why would anybody use these sites when Steam does accept Bitcoins? I actually have a post about it on my blog.
That is probably it for now. And what about you? Do you hold OBITS or NEO? Or is there a better staking coin? If you also have any news that you would like to share with us feel free to post them in the comments below. See you soon!
Thank you!
