Wayuu Tapestry (+Bonus) - Crypto Art Challenge [Round 5: EOS Edition]

Hello everyone! Today I want to share my entry to the Crypto Art Challenge in it's round 5, hosted by @sndbox, this edition is dedicated to EOS. The challenge is to pick an artist or an art style and transform the assigned logo into a piece of art.

The Inspiration:

I was inspired by the beautiful tapestry of the Wayuu community, an ethnic group of Venezuela, the country where I live.
The materials they use are yarm of different colors and the technique is crochet, they switch colors of yarm as the work progress to create the beautiful geometrical patterns.

The Process:

I opened a file with the dimensions specified by @sndbox 1000x600px. I made a white background with a texture and then I started creating a patterm by making copies of the logo.

After I was happy with the patern, I picked the 2 middle roads to start coloring the logo. I picked blue, magenta and purple. Following the idea of using brigh colors as the Wayuu Tapestry.

Then I copied the layers until I had all the work space covered.

I went to "filters" to add the texture. I picked squares and I corrected the size.

And here is the result of the filter. I looks like a colorful tapestry, just like the Wayuu make them.

Bonus:

I liked this logo, so I was inspired and I did 2 logo representations, at the end I picked the tapestry, but here is my second representation. I used Adobe Illustration for the creation.

I was inspired for the recently popular constallation art, where it shows a representation of a constallation.

Thank you for passing by and reading my post.
