🗞 US SEC Asks for Further Comment Regarding VanEck Bitcoin ETF
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has requested further comments regarding its decision on the listing and trading of a Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded fund (ETF), according to an official notice released September 20.
The ETF under consideration is backed by investment firm VanEck and financial services company SolidX. Initially filed on June 6, the fund is claimed to be physically-backed, which means it will hold actual Bitcoins, and is expected to list on the Chicago Board of Exchange (CBOE) BZX Equities Exchange (BZX).

🗞 Review: A Side-by-Side Comparison of Decentralized Exchanges
Decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges are getting better. They’ve still some way to go before they match the UX of the best centralized exchanges, or facilitate cross-chain trades for that matter, but they’ve come a long way since the Etherdelta days at least. In a week where Ethfinex Trustless debuted, we review four of the top ERC20 exchanges.

🗞 ‘Wild West’ crypto-asset markets need UK regulation, say MPs
The UK government’s Treasury Select Committee investigation into digital currencies and distributed ledger technology yesterday issued its report following several months of hearings and evidence gathering.
The FT summarises the conclusions highlighting the report’s concerns over investor protection and the role played by crypto assets in money laundering, but also notes the report’s suggestion that with ‘appropriate regulation’ the UK could become a ‘global centre’ for the nascent sector.

🗞 Tether's Impact on Bitcoin Price Not 'Statistically Significant,' Study Finds
The issuance of tether (USDT), the controversial cryptocurrency tied to the U.S. dollar's value, has had no meaningful impact on the price of bitcoin, an academic study has found.
The findings by Dr. Wang Chun Wei, a lecturer at the business school of Australia's University of Queensland, contradict widespread and long-running speculation that Tether, the company behind the stable cryptocurrency, has been issuing USDT to pump up the price of bitcoin.

STEEM Trading Update by my friend @cryptopassion
Here is the chart of yesterday :
Here is the current chart :
The Steem is very quiet and only moving inside our trading canal. What I like with this kind of canal is that the break of one of these lines will trigger an immediate Break Out. Will it be a UP Break Out or a DOWN Break Out, no one can be sure and I think the BTC will impact us heavly for the choice of the direction. However, we start to have some UP indicators on the Steem, so stay patient, the worst is perhaps behind us.
