Former Banker Dirk Scheringa is going to become the new CEO of ICO Headstart, a company that is going to help startups with launching their crypto projects.
Dirk Scheringa is a well known Dutch businessman who became a success with his Bank DSB. Scheringa started with his efforts in 1975 and almost 3 decades later he had turned his enterprise into a 300 million euro success story. The DSB bank was one of the Netherland's most well-known and respected banks. Scheringa was also chairman for AZ Alkmaar, the Dutch first division soccer team. Unfortunately all this came to an end in 2009 when the bank went bankrupt due to a scandal involving mortgages.
After the bankruptcy Scheringa stayed active in the financial world trying to regain his former glory.
Now Scheringa will become the CEO at ICO Headstart, the company has reached out to Scheringa because of his worldwide reputation, experience in banking and crowdfunding and his willingness to embrace the new economy.
ICO Headstart is a platform that brings ICO projects and backers together without additional costs. They will screen ICO's to make sure that investors get what they paid for and even use certificates to separate the good from the bad. The screened and certified ICO's will get an ICO Headstart Seal of Approval.
Now here is where it gets interesting. The platform has its own cryptocurrency called MOAT (mother of all tokens). Project creators can submit their project, after which they will be carefully screened. If all is well the new ICO will be added to the platform. The hosted ICO's will get funding from the ICO Headstart platform. Backers can use their voting power to decide which ICO's will be successful. The successful ICO's will receive funds through escrow. At the same time, the tokens of the projects will be transferred to the ICO HeadStart platform and sold for maximum profit.
The Platform uses a buyback option to ensure the value of the MOAT coin. 80% of the profits will be used to buyback the MOAT coins from the token holders and 20% will be used to fund new ICO projects.
ICO Headstart seems like an interesting project and in my opinion has at least 3 things going for them
An ICO pre sale which is always good for a quick win
The CEO, a former banker and crowdfunding specialist who has a unique way of doing things
A very interesting concept that solves one of the major problems with cryptocurrency
A successful businessman who makes the switch to Crypto, a concept that solves a really big problem, a professional team behind a good looking concept and cheap coins through a pre-ico sale. All I have to say is.... I am in!
The Pre-ICO sale of MOAT starts in December
