Commonly, we found this large dish was dedicated to the bride escosters. In Aceh, we may easily find at wedding party. The host provided this dish in lying formation which consists of some various foods such as main course, and desert, we have no entry here. This combination emerges an artistic plating, that will be then eaten by the guests. While the bridegroom was set on decorative seat while watching the escosters enjoyed the food. Usually, a few number of guests are invited to eat in for space and high class food are limited. This culture of formating the large dish has been prevailing for generations. This is not easy job, it required particular persons to make this large dish look stunning.
I believe this large dish formation has history background that we have to dig much more as it did not emerge for no reason. It came up in middle of society to inspire the people that we have to welcome the guests throughout the presenting the best quality food and it is also as a symbol of hospitality.

As we can see, there are some food lied above another. Its aim to give the guests to have a choice which one they firstly consume, it is not overwhelming to serve the meal. The culture always come to please its society. That is why this art of formating the dish is still preserved until now. No matter how much the cost to provide these high class food, the cost will be then replaced by solidarity, unity and sense of belonging between the host and the guests.
