Hello my friends!
Spring is a wonderful time of the year. Many people are looking forward to the awakening of nature and the revival of her new life cycle. But in the spring we can often feel not as vigorously as we would like. The body feels fatigue caused by long cold winters. So much effort was spent on overcoming severe weather surprises, so much energy was spent on fighting the cold. Therefore, our health needs an increased dose of vitamins in the first spring days. Natural vitamins will help our body wake up from winter sleep and tune in to new achievements. And today I want to tell you about a wonderful vegetable salad, which is very famous in my country. This is a real mountain of vitamins on your plate! The salad called Vinaigrette, and it is very simple and amazingly delicious!
As you probably know, Russia has a very long winter. Usually, the cold season starts in October and ends by April. Almost six months we are in harsh weather conditions. Therefore, regular consumption of fruits and vegetables is necessary, It gives vitamins to our body. Vinaigrette-is an assortment of boiled and fresh vegetables, and this is exactly the food that will give you the whole range of vitamins in one dish.
I'll tell you my recipe for vinaigrette. I have been experimenting with the ingredients for a long time, and I think I found exactly the combination that makes Vinaigrette most delicious.
Ingredients:
- potatoes 4 piece
- beet 2 piece
- carrot 2 piece
- large cucumber 1 piece
- red onion 1 piece
- green pea 200 g
- fennel
- greens onions
- parsley lettuce leaves
- salt, pepper
- olive oil
I cook potatoes, beets and carrots in the Steamer. The rest of the vegetables are used raw. Steaming instead of traditional cooking is a great way to keep more vitamins in vegetables. This method of cooking with steam is the most suitable for my salad. After all, I want to get the most out of it. All vegetables must be finely cut, mixed and seasoned with olive oil.
Salad Vinaigrette, filled with vitamins is ready! Enjoy your meal. What could be easier vinaigrette? In your country, prepare some similar dish? Be sure to try to cook my salad, you will like the result. You can also add some salty fish to the vinaigrette. This gives it some piquancy, for those who love the unusual flavors of food. I often add beans instead of green peas. This is also one of the nice and useful additions. If you like more sour dishes, you can add sauerkraut to the vinaigrette. As always, any deviations from the recipe I presented are possible.
I'll tell you about how the Salad provides the benefit for our health. Beetroot contains minerals that regulate the metabolism and reduce the fat reserves in the body. Beet has a beneficial effect on the digestive system.
Carrot contains calcium, iodine, phosphorus and keratin necessary for the skin.
The potato contains a large amount of vitamin C, as well as magnesium and iron.
The onion is very rich in vitamins A,b and C.
The Vinaigrette is a light, low-calorie dish. And it is a fragrant and delicious salad. In Russia vinaigrette is cooked in every family, the recipe is often different from each hostess. What remains unchanged is its vitamin composition and nice pink color. This is a real symbol of healthy natural nutrition.
Vinaigrette is always appropriate-it is prepared for a festive table, and for a normal dinner with the family. The salad is the first course, which is taught to girls in our country. I remember Technology lessons at school, where we learned how to make vinaigrette. Homework was to prepare this salad on your own and bring some to school for the tasting! So the Vinaigrette can safely be considered a traditional Russian salad.
Vinaigrette is my favorite salad. It's filled with some rustic spirit, it's food taken from Nature. Its preparation is simple and unpretentious. This is exactly what you need in the village. When you are busy working on your farm and you need strength, there is nothing better than to cook a Vinaigrette of fresh vegetables collected from the garden. Vegetable smoothies are very popular all over the world now. They quickly recuperate and energize. And I think that the Russian Vinaigrette is the Ancestor of vegetable smoothies. Only he's in a different consistency. At least, its composition is very similar to the composition of the popular smoothies of vegetables.
