Last week we had 2 (two) new curators joined our team of curators @arrliinn & @limabeing recommended by top curators of last week.
Every week top curators gets to recommend one person which they will be able to fill a curator's slot. Top curators gets consistently messaged as to how to be a curator, or are you able to mentor me. Here are a few traits which is normally looked at before being a curator for CURIE
- Must be a bonafide and engaged member of the STEEM community. For someone who only posts once a month and hardly replies to any comments will not make the cut ! You need to be at least well engaged with the community by actually replying to comments and also viewing and commenting on other people's blog. As CURIE is all about recommending OTHER great authors and not yourself.
- Be at least Rep 52 and above. This is easiest to achieve if you are already engaged with the community and posting at least once or twice a week.
- Don't be recently flagged by Steemcleaners / Cheetah . For you to be able to recommend others for their exceptional posts, we also encourage that you do not get consistently flagged for plagiarism . This will determined if the curator will take you in under their mentorship

- Do i make a lot of money as a CURIE curator ? In all seriousness, you stand to make a lot more by writing good content and engaging the community. If money is what you are looking for, CURIE is about helping others and may not be up to your expectation
- Why are TOP Curators are not replying my messages ? TOP Curators gets loads of messages daily asking to be a curator. Due to recent changes there are only a few top curators per week and we are only able to approve a few every week. Please do keep trying, some curators takes weeks before being able to get a slot
