The ibis aka 'The Bin Chicken' also known as the ‘Tip Turkey’ are very famous in Australia these photos i captured by the beach on my visit to Australia just recently.
You will see many of these birds now in Australia scavenging to survive across the cities of Australia because many of the wetlands have been lost.
Today these Bin Chicken's are seen wading through many cities of Australia at landfills and beaches with their diet expanding to include scrap from bins along with worms, fish and frogs.
In Australia these Ibis birds have been branded with some really unflattering names like the 'rubbish raptor' or the 'dumpster chook' but what do they care they need to survive right with all the river regulation in Australia the ibis had to move to the coastal cities were fast food is free for them....lol.
