I am just keeping it stupidly simple (KISS) for my own sake, I don’t like to over complicate anything!
Step 1
Head to the SteemBotTracker Delegation Tool Here
- Enter YOUR Username and click load, this will load your list of active delegations and available STEEM Power for delegations.
Step 2
- Scroll down too “Add / Update Delegation type in recipient account, amount of STEEM Power, your available power is listed just below the amount box beside the Delegate Max button.
Step 3
- You will be referred to SteemConnect, double check it is https steemconnect.com and nothing else, click continue.
Step 4
- Enter Username and Password and Submit, that’s it!

Many people do not understand what delegation is. Simply put delegation is a loan of your power to someone else to do as they see fit. Can be used for curation resulting increased rewards and visibility boosting by the Power holder. This power can also be used for self voting or delegation to a service that returns rewards for the investment. Delegations take effect immediately but require 7 days to return meanwhile in limbo they seem to disappear but do not worry.
I have decided to delegate some of my STEEM Power to @Toddmck. We are both part of the #OneLoveDTube trail so why bother? Currently his power is fairly low and does not hold much value behind it, I found with myself as my power grows it’s perceived value to myself grows as I discover how to wield it. Secondly appreciation for his efforts within the community, this I learned from @humanearl as he delegates to me and is largely encouraging. Thirdly I will increase his vote value on my own posts, self voting just goes back into the rewards pool since the last update.
