The wanderer paused for a moment surveilling the horizon, gifted with the essential traits of her position. Her sight was phenomenal, coupled with her speed and stealth she was the epitome of a wanderer.

In her early twenties, she was still agile and fast enough to rival any of her fellow wanderers. Meticulous in her duty she continued forward cautiously, looking out onto the massive open plain before her - she knew the ramifications if she misjudged the situation.

Her task hindered by the long rolling grass that swayed back and forth, in time with the breeze like the two forms dancing in harmony together.

She felt rather than saw the presence in the field, calmly she peered across the open expanse, froze and then slowly lowered herself disappearing into the long thick grass. She wasn't alone and her only route of retreat would force her to expose her position and make it easy to follow her.

As a wanderer it was her duty to scout ahead of her tribe, sometimes travelling weeks ahead of the main camp. It was a solo job, no one to rely on but yourself - no one else put at risk if you make a mistake. Now she not only had warn her tribe of the waiting ambush, but she also had to escape it herself.

The Fantaren were a conquering tribe, that had been stalking the Brahmenty tribe for countless generations. Systematically raping and killing the peaceful tribes of the southern plains, forcing all who wish to survive to live a nomadic lifestyle - moving constantly to keep ahead of the Fantaren.

Isala's people the Brahmenty tribe had suffered the loss of entire families, with no heirs to continue their lines they vanish into the dust - the Brahmenty consider this the greatest injustice possible to wipe out a family line, would result in that families abilities being lost forever.

She kept her body as low and as still as she dared, her leather armor would do nothing to save her against the blade of a Fantaren warrior. Hearing an almost imperceptible foot fall her racing heart skipped a beat, only to return with swift verocity when she heard the second...
