Hey everyone, I'm partaking in a character design contest and the challenge was to create a character based off of a specific color scheme. Honestly I wasn't a big fan of the colors chosen, but the ogre was the first idea to pop into my head based off of that requirement. I immediately thought of Shrek!
This was a 6x6 watercolor illustration, outlined in pen. I enjoy creating intricate patterns so the beard was the funnest part to draw.
