Land Ownership!
Its a thing of great potential.
There are so many uses for land.
One could go on picnics on lazy afternoons...
Upon a carpet of autumn leaves courtesy of the dense overhead foliage.

One could instead chop some wood, clear the land for crop growth...
Bring in cattle to graze the land of the lush grass between the tree stumps.
One could bring in a bulldozer. Dig up the topsoil. Dump it elsewhere.
Encase the land beneath a layer of concrete, staked with support pillars.
To raise structures industrial, commercial and/or residential...
Where the only "nature" to speak of pears out from a Gucci bag.

Lots of species have their trademark shelters. Bees have hives. Foxes and Rabbits have their dens and burrows. Beavers have their dams.
Unlike all other species upon the planet, humanity is facing an awkward issue that comes about of thinking that the time, place and way for humanity is every time, every place and every which way.
Which has serious implications when coupled with land ownership.
Sure - our numbers have sky-rocketed by over 5 billion in the past century alone...
...but is this really a good reason to persist with ensnaring even more lands of the World with our toxic roots of steel and concrete?
Is it not time to reflect upon the path that we have been walking, take some giant steps backwards and acknowledge that one has now found an acceptable space within the World?
