I designed and made this mantle piece.
The client asked me to create a mantle including holly and ivy with a traditional style but also a contemporary twist!
I decide on a traditional mantle with holly motifs chip carved in to it. Then organic looking ivy leaves growing all over the mantle.
The client was so happy with the results they commissioned me to design and make the side cabinets, but that is for another day.
