I arrived in Shanghai for my work-related business trip yesterday morning and will be staying here for 2 days, before jetting off again.
There is a saying that no trip to Shanghai is complete without a leisurely walk along the Bund. So that is exactly what I did with my colleague last night.
The Bund is a picturesque, water-fronted area within Central Shanghai which runs along the western bank of the Hangpu River. The Architecture of the elegant 1920s and 1930s bund, is offset by a contrasting view of modernist Pudong.
The view was an spectacular sight, to say the least! Brilliant, sparkling lights accentuated the splendid architecture along the riverbank as well the numerous ships sailing by. And, of course, it attracted a lot of people taking photographs and enjoying the surreal illuminations.

著名的外滩是位于上海中心一个风景如画的滨水区，被黄浦江一分为二。西岸是历史悠久的建筑群，有着二十年代和三十年代的欧式古老建筑，对比着东岸高楼林立的繁华商业区，着截然不同的两岸景色造就了上海独特的风情！
浦江两岸的景观灯，流光溢彩，十分繁华。我漫步其中，更能感受到夜上海的浪漫与魅力！这也吸引了一波一波的游客观看和拍照！
