Life in general is pretty relaxed down in Mljet and this is exactly what I love about this island. What a beautiful place to retreat to and forget it all!
Staying at this idyllic national park, we truly had a wonderful time and I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed the amazing strolls around the beautiful lakes there. The small lake “Malo Jezero” has a narrow rocky trail going around it, which differed slightly from the big one “Veliko Jezero”.
I would highly recommend swimming here at every opportunity you can get as the water is crystal clear and has a lovely temperature. Really super refreshing after a long walk, in fact! We also found so many secondary awesome swimming spots dotted through the island that literally had no people around. You are guaranteed a secluded, private swimming area if you are willing to go a little further down the path crossing the perimeter of the lake. What more can you ask for, haha?

在这个国家公园我们度过了非常愉快的时光，我尤其喜欢围绕着大小两个咸水湖漫步。沿着小湖“Malo Jezero”，周边有狭窄的岩石小径，与大湖 “Veliko Jezero”又略有不同。
湖水清澈透明，温度暖和，我非常推荐在湖里游泳，特别是走累了下水游泳特别爽，呵呵！我在湖边发现了许多绝佳的游泳地点，不但风景优美，而且一个人都没有哦，就像一个僻静的私人游泳池，哈哈！
