So basically what it is If I really like a Blog post and it resonates with me in a very deep and enriching way and the Comments and overall Discussion do the same as well..then I will give it a full powered blanket Upvote to the author of the post and the participants who left substantial and meaningful Comments (Like I said here is a recent example First Dolphin Support Initiative of a Worthy Post)
The main reason I want to do this is to start using my Dolphin status to build up Steemit and reward high quality participants and encourage productive, high quality Discussion among my fellow Steemians to attract new blood to our Platform here and also to keep Steemit interesting and relevant as well.
The second reason Iam doing this is guys I really really want Steemit to have a Reputation of being a very generous Entity. One that may not solve world hunger tomorrow but will definitely contribute to helping it. One that people who may be down on their luck can turn to and help them get back on their feet. @thealliance is already doing a magnificent job with @sircork and his @youarehope initiative !
Conclusion...
Anyway, I encourage ALL Dolphins and Whales to seek out these blog posts discussions where there is excellent and productive dialogue going on. And bring it to light by giving it a full powered Reward all the way around. Or at least let me know about it so I can do it.
The only Rule for qualifying for the Dolphin Support Initiative is that the Blog Post discussion MUST have at least 80% of the Comments ( including the Author's) to be substantial and of quality. In other wards if 20 people Comment on it there must be at least 16 Comments of high quality that truly add to the overall Discussion..
