Doodle on!
I'm sharing with you my doodle for this week's Doodle Doodledayeo round 17 challenge, the 3 words that are inspiring this week's doodling are tangled, plastic and mermaid.
For this week's Doodle Doodledayeo challenge I set the mermaid, a creature from folklore, as one of the themes. However, the threats to our seas and the creatures that live in them are very real. My aim is for everyone to have fun with this week's challenge, but I also hope that through our doodles the message of stopping the pollution in our seas will be communicated too.

The process
For my Doodle Doodledayeo drawing I drew a mermaid with her hair all tangled up in plastic bottles. She is being tossed and turned in the swirling current of plastic, unable to escape.

The challenge is about using your imagination and creating cool doodles. It's open to everyone of all skill levels. This isn't about creating a masterpiece but about sharing a little of your imagination on paper for others. Not that your doodle has to be on drawing paper, doodle on anything you like.
Remember, if you want to take part in the challenge too then all you have to do is make a doodle inspired by the 3 words tangled, plastic and mermaid.
