So the challenge was to make a doodle inspired by the words; castle, enchanted, and turnip.
I immediately imagined a fantasy world, with an enchanted castle shaped like a turnip.
Here are some of the process of me creating my version of how I took those three words as an inspiration for this artwork:
While sketching out the rough idea of how it's gonna look, I decided to put a couple of characters in the foreground.
Change the design of the castle from a single turnip to a bunch of them.
A mage and a knight on their quest.
Finding the Enchanted Turnip Castle.
Beyond the peak of the highest mountain.
The castle lies above the clouds.
I wanted to make it look like it's a still from a classic animation movie.
So I put the subtitle in.
And made some color adjustment.
Done! But I think I went off track from what I was supposed to do here. This doesn't look much like a doodle, it is leaning more towards digital painting. Nevermind that though, I had fun doing this and happy just to be a part of this contest!
